Do you have a specialty?
We especially enjoy cooking authentic Mexican a la Rick Bayless, Mediterranean (Italian, Spanish, Greek, Middle Eastern, Moroccan), and menus that reflect seasonality.
Do you have health certification?
Yes, we are required by the State of Illinois to have health certification. All of our chefs are food safety certified and we work in a certified kitchen in Evanston. We also have taken Allergen Training and are well-versed in preparing food for people with food allergies.
Do you offer tastings?
No, we do not offer tastings but are happy to put you in touch with any of our clients.
Do you provide staffing?
Yes, we have Basset-trained bartenders, servers and chefs available for all events.
Do you supply insurance?
Many venues require liability insurance and liquor liability insurance, which we are happy to supply. Liability insurance comes at no cost, liquor liability costs $3 per person to a maximum of $300.
Do you supply liquor?
While we do not have a liquor license, we will order and have your liquor delivered for minimal service charge. We also work with liquor stores who will provide free glassware, further saving you money.
Do you take care of rentals?
Yes, we will take care of linens and any equipment needed.
Do you use local/organic/sustainable products?
As much as possible as our clients' budgets allow. We have good relationships with area farmers and try to use their products as available.
What is the minimum number of people for which you will cater?
We have no minimum number of people, but we do have a minimum of $500 per event. For in-home sit-down dinners, there is a minimum of $100 per person.
What kind of cuisine do you offer?
We enjoy working with our clients to come up with a menu that is personalized for each individual client. We have prepared Middle Eastern, Authentic Mexican, Greek, Spanish, Korean, Italian and many American meals.
Will you do drop-offs?
We do not offer drop-offs.
Will you provide service only?
Yes.
